You all know I don't write much, however, I thought the information was verrrry important. The DARE officer at my school went to a seminar concerning gangs. They were told that this weekend (Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept, 24) is a the major initiation weekend for a gang know as the BLOODS. Their initiation works like this:
A car will pass you on the road without its headlights on or its lights on high beam. You flash them a courtesy high beam to let them know they do not have them on or that their lights are on highbeam. The initiate then turns around to follow you. When you stop your car at your destination, he gets out of his car with a gun and kills everyone in the vehicle. Do not flash anybody with your lights. This BLOODS have gangs all over the nation.

Well then, why have they actually caught four BLOODS members doing it in Va. Beach, Virginia? A Police car flashed them, and they followed him(not knowing it was the police) until they pulled into the police station. I still say, watch out.

They get a kick out of scaring people and the thought that they're affecting so many peoples lives with one malicious rumour. This one has been going around for quite a while, so long in fact, that it made it into the horror film 'Urban Legends'.
Urban legends have been around so long that they get repeated every year, often by older students trying to scare the freshers. They often get passed on in ignorance by intellegent people who fail to think about the rumour, even policemen and canadian mounties in this case.

If you read the links I provided you'll see that many other police officials have also passed around this rumour. Your sheriff would not be the first, and most likely, not the last either. There have been no proven reports of this happening and no proof that the Bloods had anything to do with the inception of this rumour.

The Bloods are undoubtedly a vicious criminal gang but there is no proof that they have committed any such high profile initiation ceremonies.

For me, this is one of those cases where its guilty until proven innocent. Until someone can prove that its innocent/true then its going to be guilty/false. :P

As for the gang thing. Whom i'd be possibly driving with this weekend would be my dear old mother. She never shines her high beams on anyone for COMMON COURTESY! How they repay us? Just shine it back...so for my mom's kindness i have nothing to worry. Though Thank you Fae whether it be true or not your might've saved a life maybe in somewhere she might have. That life is precious and now it won;t be ruined
